You may struggle with attempting to maintain a perception of yourself to appease others, while causing internal conflict within yourself. You might even struggle with engaging in effective communication or stir clear of situations that require you to advocate for yourself and/or implement boundaries. You might find yourself in this endless saga of engaging in the same patterns, despite your acknowledgement of doing so. You may come from dysfunction and want to break free of generational curses once and for all. Either way, if any of those issues sound like you, you've end up in the right space!

Individual Therapy
Are you struggling with not recognizing the reflection in the mirror? Have you lost sight of yourself? Is your anxiety and/or depression getting the best of you? A Work of Heart Therapy, PLLCÂ utilizes a person-centered approach by tailoring the needs of each individual client, in an effort to become the best possible version of you that exists underneath the surface.
Couples Therapy
Are you experiencing difficulty remembering why you and your partner fell in love all that time ago? Are you constantly arguing and not finding any common ground? Are you feeling like the relationship has become one sided? Do you feel like you're at your breaking point? A Work of Heart Therapy, PLLC utilizes solution focused techniques to assist you and your significant other in developing effective communication skills to fight the problem at hand, and not one another.
Family Therapy
Are you finding yourself drained by your family's expectations of you? Do you dread family gatherings like the plague? A Work of Heart Therapy, PLLC utilizes the framework of Family Systems Theory to address the unique needs of each family member. Families have a profound impact on an individual's emotions and actions. While we cannot pick our family, we can certainly build skills to better function and end the vicious repeat cycle of generational dysfunction.
Group Therapy
Do you find yourself expressing that no one understands what you're going through? There's so much power in group settings. Imagine being surrounded by people who truly "get it." Yalom Irvin was a long-term advocate for group therapy because he believed it produced specific dynamics that increase healing. A Work of Heart Therapy, PLLC also believes in the power of being around like-minded individuals and growing from the experience, in itself.
